Nike Logo and its Mythology!
I am going to tell you the original story about Nike’s logo, I know you must have heard many things about the Nike's logo, but here we will be revealing about the original mythology behind Nike’s logo.
Lets first discuss about the origin of the word “NIKE”, it is the name of the Greek goddess belonged from the family of Titan and Styx a Naiyad. Mother of Nike Styx helped Zeus in the war of Titan and came back with her four children Nike(victory), Cratos(strength), Zelus (Rivalry) and Bia(force). Zeus made a promise to keep them safe and closer to him forever. Nike was given the opportunity to ride the divine chariot so that he could comfort Zeus in the war of Titan and help him gain his strength back.
This is the only reason why Nike has been signified as the goddess of strength and victory.
Greek history identifies how Nike helped the righteous to win and showed bravery and courage to the world. Her wings swooshed and the feathers she used to kept in her hands just like the NIKE logo.
This was the story of the Nike's brand name and it’s logo. Now you know, your favorites sports is company is named after ancient Greek goddess.
